Newcomers

Welcome

Welcome to Holy Family Catholic Church in Leisure World. The Pastor and the entire Holy Family Catholic Community welcomes you as a catholic into our community of faith. It is our hope and our prayer that you will settle down quickly and find contentment, peace and happiness in Leisure World. It is our hope that you will become an active member of our Catholic Community as you make new friendships within the Leisure World family. Holy Family Parish has a beautiful church where we gather continually to worship, to praise God, to give thanks and to seek His help. Times of Masses and Confessions are listed above. Our church is open all day from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

There are a number of church related activities that we invite you to participate in. They are intended to enrich your life spiritually and socially.

PARISH DAY OF ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

On the 6th day of each month Adoration begins after 8:30 a.m. Mass and ends with Holy Hour and Benediction from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Each parish in the Diocese has its own day for Adoration.

The ‘special intentions’ for Adoration are: (1) to pray for vocations to priesthood and religious life. (2) to pray for the spiritual growth of God’s people throughout our Diocese.

Thank you for your interest in our parish. Whether you’re just visiting us for a brief time, looking for a new parish home, are returning to the practice of your Catholic faith or are interested in finding out more about the Catholic Church, we’re happy to have you here.

A parish is a community of believers and a spiritual family that is supportive and loving. It can be a place to grow spiritually, to put your faith in action, and to use our gifts of time and talent as disciples of Christ. We look forward to answering any questions you may have. In the meantime, please look through the resources we’ve made available on these pages:
